Using stencils for great tattoo patterns

Tattoo flash is printed Tattoo Patterns on cardboard or paper and is considered as industrial design. They are prominently displayed in tattoo parlors and binders to give the clients an idea for tattoos. Most of this flash was designed for rapid tattooing by individual artist for their own display and use. Some were sold amongst artists themselves. The traditional hand-drawn local tattoo flash is now replaced by skilled “flash artists”. They produce patented flash and sell them through the net or at conventions. There is no specific size for flash designs and is commonly found on 11 x 14” prints. They may or may not have a stencil, which is usually printed on a separate sheet. Stencils make it convenient for the tattoo artist as otherwise he would have to draw the line work.
