Because we had some family members that were living in Texas that we needed to locate, my dad got online to a web site that allowed us to access the Texas Public Records, and found our family members that we had been searching for. Many people who went through hurricane Katrina had to do this in other states, as a large amount of people were relocated after the hurricane had devastated the state of Louisiana.
