There are foods that are delicacies in Peru that might not appeal to a tourist. Some Peruvian food dishes to watch out for include roast cuy. In America we treat them as adorable pets, but in Peru, they are a food delight. Roast cuy is another word for guinea pig. In an elaborate festival, Peruvians dress guinea pigs up in elaborate traditional costumes, parade them around the town, and then roast and eat them as a delicacy. At the annual fair in Cusco hundreds of guinea pigs are on display from long-haired ones to almost hairless ones, in every color from pure white to dramatic mixes of brown and black. As there are a lot of small joints in the joint, then a fracture or dislocation of the joint is likely to cause significant disruption. Not surprisingly, a fracture of this joint is called a lisfrancs fracture. The twisting as they fell disrupted the joint.
