We were going away to the beach to rent a house for a week. We wanted to find some restaurants near the rental house to make reservations for a family party while we were staying there. The easiest way to do that was to use the online Rhode Island information to look up restaurants then zero in on one that was near our house and easy for everyone to find. We got a great place reserved and the party was a huge success. The weather cooperated giving us a lovely day with clear skies. What a great vacation that was, family included!

I have been to businesses in recent years that did not accept credit cards. They were usually small businesses such as dry cleaners or hair salon’s. While I didn’t have a problem with the fact that they didn’t accept credit cards, I could see how it would affect their business.
The main point of credit cards is the simplicity and ease of using them. It is a way to borrow money, but people also like how simple it is. In most cases, you must swipe your card and sign a credit card terminal screen or a receipt. You can use them at restaurants, fast food joints, supermarkets, department stores, boutiques, etc. Even if it just cuts a few minutes from your day, it still easier than finding cash. Also, some people do rely on the money they have on their credit card because they don’t have the cash to pay.
