I wanted to die as I stood next to my car on the side of the road with no cell phone service, cars racing by, and not one person slowing down even to ask if a stranded woman needed help. I wanted to die because I was considering raising my skirt above my knee and flashing some skin. I was getting desperate. I had been there for an hour. Finally an older gentleman pulled over and slowly walked close enough to ask me if I needed help. Not only did he lend a hand getting my car started, he told me to check into breakdown cover to avoid this happening again.
