When I was interning for my father over the summer I couldn’t feel anything but guilt because of two reasons. The first one is because I have absolutely no interest in construction and secondly because all I could think about was the summer hiking camp that I missed. I guess I wanted to give my dad the benefit of the doubt and show him I was enthusiastic about working for him but my work just reflected much of how I really felt about the situation and I’m pretty sure my dad was hinting on it. I was so surprised when he sent me to a store to check out tree climbing equipment for sale. When I got there the store manager informed me that I could pick anything I wanted and handed me a note from my dad that informed me he was firing me and wanted me on the first plain to catch up on my hiking camp. I have to say I never appreciated him more than that day.

Once when I was a kid, I was kidnapped by the traveling circus. I’m actually not sure if I was kidnapped, or if my parents rented me out. Anyway, they forced me to learn the acoustic guitar. It was part of some act they had. They made me study this special acoustic guitar lesson every day for like three or four hours, and pretty soon I was pretty good. When I played, the crowd always enjoyed listening to me. I was particularly good at playing chords both minors and majors. After the summer was over, they returned me back home. I guess I never should have asked my parents for guitar lessons, and told them I’d run away and join the circus if I didn’t get them.

When I was a teenager, I didn’t have much appreciation for my parents. I felt like it was their duty to take care of me, so I insisted that they buy we whatever I felt I needed. This included such things as a car. I didn’t realize how much of a sacrifice it must have been for them until I moved away and didn’t have their support anymore. When my car broke down, I didn’t have the money to get it fixed or to buy another. I did at least have a steady job, though, so I got a Car Loan. But the next time I see my parents, I need to remember to thank them for everything they did for me.

My plumber Darron is really extremely helpful in so many ways. One thing that has always very much impressed me about him is that he is always willing to give me free advice over the phone and genuinely goes out of his way to get me the nicest deals that he can get, even if those deals do not come with a piece of profit for him. When he told me the best way to get the new water meters that I needed, I went ahead and visited the site. I found out that Darron was totally correct and that this was a good deal and a good product.
