John works in a large calibration lab. The lab that John works in tests, calibrates and certifies that the instruments are working correctly. John takes a refresher maintenance training once a year. By taking the course it keeps him updated on all of the new requirements and the new technologies that are available. John always enjoys taking the courses because he likes knowing that he always has the newest information that is available to him. John is looking at being promoted to manager of the calibration lab. He feels that the training that he gets every year has helped him prepare for this position.

Don’t get my wrong, my husband is the very best and I love him dearly. Unfortunately, he made a slight mistake for Valentine’s Day last year. We love to ski because we can do it together and with the kids. So this year, my husband purchased one of the best Womens Ski Jackets and wrapped it up for my gift. I do love it, but was expecting something a little more romantic for Valentine’s Day. He definitely put a lot of thought into it because the jacket really is the top of the line, so I won’t be too mad at him.

I used to hang out with this guy that was a part time professional juggler. He would work parties and stuff, and sometimes he’d work with a partner, that would do a routine called magic tricks revealed. They would work there routine together, and work in the magic with the juggling, and the juggling with the magic. They had everything worked out, and they did pretty well together. Except the magician’s wife got pregnant, and she told him he had to stop doing magic and get a regular job. The income from doing their show was pretty good, but it was also pretty erratic sometimes. So he went back to school and became a spinal surgeon.

My job requires that I mix flammable liquids together. I hate this part as I am always worried about spilling the fluids and harming other employees. This is something I have discussed with my boss on more than one occasion, but he hasn’t come up with any ways to make this safer. The other day a safety inspector came in for our yearly review. He happened to see me mixing these liquids and suggested we get a portable Mixing Tank. It’s not mandatory, but something he highly recommends. My boss immediately agreed to get some and I feel much, much better.
