My Favorite Memory

My favorite memory as a child was sitting in my Grand Pappy’s workshop and watching him fix things. He had a weakness for antique kids toys, and I loved to watch him fix up an old train or toy soldier.  My favorite part was when I got to help him by testing out the toys after he fixed them just to make sure they worked right. When I was five years old, he bought me a set of tools that were a miniature set of the ones he used himself. He taught me so much about fixing things, and it stayed with me. Now, I’m teaching my own grandson how to fix things.

It’s really hard to explain it all in a revised form, so if you want to learn more, click on the link above for more information.
