Despite having a successful career as a stage hypnotist, there have been times when things haven’t went so well. I remember when I first stated out and was chasing down the leading names in hypnosis to bug them with questions, and one of the main things I wanted to know, was how to overcome fear of failure, and fears that it might not work and I’ll be left standing in front of hundreds of people looking like an idiot. The replies I got were quite surprising. One of my own mentors and a leading TV hypnotist said, “If it doesn’t work? I go home, and have a KFC on the way, then I get up, and do it all again”.

One of the best things I do for my own healthy living style is colon cleansers. About every three months I go to my local health food store and purchase one. I go to the Red Box and rent a few movies and have plenty of water on hand. By the end of the last movie at the end of the day I feel so much better. I would recommend the movie or a good book and lots of water. Water is so important and should not be overlooked. There are times when it has been longer than three months and times when it has been shorter. You know your body and you will know when it is time!

When a group of friends recently made contact to inform me that they are going to hold a World Cup party this year it sounded like a cool idea. The pub they have chosen has a big screen TV that will allow us to watch the game. As part of the festivities, we each have to bring a gift to exchange for the occasion. I decided to buy some sports coins to take to the occasion. The world cup coins crafted in silver will be a smash hit if I give those out. I went ahead and bought some from the Perth Mint before everyone else rushes to get them when soccer fever grips the town.

I was reading the newspaper the other day when I chanced upon a driving fear program review. I was really surprised to find out that there were now methods to help deal with phobias and mental disorders without having to go through medication. A few years back I suffered from the same things and had no alternative but drugs and psychotherapy. I was really reluctant about taking the medications in fear that I would form a dependence and tolerance to it. Lucky enough for me I was also taking psychotherapy alongside with my medication. I was slowly weaned from the drugs I was taking and I learned to deal with my fears. I feel really glad that people now have better choices when it comes to getting help for these things.

I always love that light bulb moment when I finally get something that has just seemed a bit beyond my grasp. When that realization also leads to me making more money is my company, that is a very good thing. That is what happened when I had a friend offer me niche marketing explained and I finally grasped that divert and convert principle. Suddenly, it was obvious why my email campaigns weren’t quite cutting the bacon, if you know what I mean. I was able to take that perspective and completely redevelop the campaign to be more effective and have a greater return.

What a great day this has been overall. Sure, there were moments when my two kids were fighting, especially when they were trying to decide where to have lunch, but it was nice to spend some time together, just the three of us. I think that my son even had a good time, we got home and he told his sister how nice she looks in her new kids shorts. He never compliments his sister. My husband is going to be home soon, he works on weekends, and I know that our daughter is already planning a fashion show. I wonder if her brother will go along.
