What I like Best About Playing Guitar

I’m sure learning the guitar means different things to different people. For me it’s all about the social aspect of music. Where I used to stand up around camp fires and watch everyone have a great time singing along with each other I’m not right down there in front of the fire strumming along while everyone is singing. I didn’t used to have anything I showed off to my friends, not when I learn a new song of guitar lick I always show them when they come over. I know it’s kind of showing off but I can’t help it, it’s my time to shine I feel.
None of this would have been possible if I hadn’t seen an ad for learn guitar dvd about 10 months ago. I had always thought about learning to play guitar, but truthfully I had never done a thing about it. Well today I have done something about it and hear I am finally playing songs for friends and family. Maybe next I’ll take some singing lessons and I’ll have the whole package.
