How A Head Light Really Altered Things For Me

September 4th, 2010

A quality pair of head lights is imperative for safe driving, especially on our busy roads. An extremely high amount of vehicles have wiperblades fitted – even trains and aircraft. J. H. Apjohn was an American inventor and he first came up with the idea of a wiperblade. That same year an update on the original idea was created by Mary Anderson, it was known as the ‘swinging arm’ wiperblade. The wiperblade is usually used alongside a pump that sprays liquid onto the windscreen to clear it. The choice of fluid to fill the pump is usually between water and wiper fluid, there are pro’s and con’s for each. As technology advanced in later years wiperblades were added to rear windows and also to headlights. Rain sensitive wiperblades are now added to many modern cars and this advance in technology is exciting.
