Auto Insurance Rates — Car Owners Who Retain Either Coverage Types Are Painfully Paying Too Much

January 8th, 2010

I’ll share one guaranteed tip for anyone to attract the best auto insurance ratesfor their profile and requirements: Folks who because of their scope of knowledge keep either collision or comprehensive coverage or both for an old car that isn’t considered a classic are painfully paying a lot more than would serve any useful purpose. A vehicle’s Kelly Blue Book value at point of making claims (and not the cost of the vehicle when you bought it) is what affects what you will get from your insurance provider. This means that not minding how much you paid and for how long you did, you may get NOT a dime if that book declares your car is worth nothing by the time you make a claim.

So, stop wasting your hard-earned cash. As soon as your car gets old, stop collision and comprehensive coverage types on it. This simple step will save you much and not put you at risk in any way.
