Debt Management Is Confidential

May 26th, 2009

No one wants to have others hear about the financial woes they are experiencing. It is important to know that a debt management company has a responsibility to keep all of your information confidential. They are not allowed to share any of your circumstances with anyone unless you give them written permission to do so. This may be necessary if they are going to negotiate with a credit card company to lower an interest rate or monthly payment. Obviously, this is in your best interests and you would want to give them permission to handle this part of the procedure for you.
