Driving Lessons Paisley it counts
October 24th, 2009
Not a day passes without sad reports of one more young life lost and wasted on the roads. Traffic accidents are the best reason for death among 16-20 year olds yet, compared to terrorism, for instance, this horrible toll looks to be something that society generally accepts as a chance of everyday living. Now consider that 3000 people are finished on the UK roads every year – that is’s equivalent to one 747 crashing and massacring everyone on board every 7 weeks. Are you able to imagine the uproar if that many planes were wiped out? Nobody would fly. They consider traffic police and traffic calming to be the enemy and as for speed cameras, don’t even talk about them! Currently the DSA ( Driving Standards Agency ) are undertaking a public consultation on the whole process of learning to drive. But there’s a catch. They feel they haven’t any option. Sounds great? It isn’t. Keep on reading. That £30,000 each year is the gross figure.
