Finding out who your friends are

Theres nothing like a major crisis to find out who your real friends are and thats exactly what happened to me. I was spirraling towards a debt black hole and couldnt do anything about it. I have about 5 close friends and they were very supportive, some helped with my kids, some helped me sell some clutter to help raise a bit of cash and some even lent me some money. I wasnt happy taking money off my friend, she did insist though and it made sense as it was only for a month.

After advice sought from my debt adviser I am now on an iva, when some of my other so called “closer” friends found this out, they wanted nothing to do with me! Not sure why, if I ever find out ill keep you posted.
