You may wonder why on earth someone would want to be a funeral directors ! If so, you need to consider that no matter how tough or uncommon the job is, someone has to do it. And by helping in conducting the last rites of a deceased person, funeral directors actually provide a noble service.
Most funeral homes are family-businesses wherein the owner is the employee and operator. The funeral directors are thus responsible for their own success and how much profit they make. They also keep a tab of the financial details such as expenses, income, assets and inventory (caskets etc). Their business usually grows with the help of word-of-mouth publicity because when it comes to services; ‘seeing, is believing’!
