Kartsten and the loans he will apply for

My friend Karsten called me up Monday morning and asked if he could stay over at my empty rental condo in Palmdale. He went on to explain that he and his girlfriend had broken up and he didn’t have a place to stay at the moment. I told him that would not be a problem and that he could come over to my house and pick up the keys. He thanked me and told me that in the next few days he would be applying for some secured loans so he could get his own apartment. I told him to take his time.
