Landlord Building Insurance

January 30th, 2010

As many landlords can tell you, it’s important to protect the property you are letting from damages that might be caused by tenants. The best way to do this is through landlord buildings insurance. These special insurance policies are designed for the unique needs of a landlord who lets property, and covers situations that many traditional homeowner policies do not. Landlord insurance is also available for any contents in a letted property that the landlord might own. Tenant’s property generally isn’t included in landlord insurance, which is why it’s a good idea to suggest to your tenants that they purchase tenants insurance.
