Laying Off People and Starting Online Home Business

There are many businesses that are affected so badly by the economy right now that they need to downsize substantially. They laid off employees at all levels leaving only the key people needed to run the business.

Then they start an online home business instead, moving all operations online so that they will not have to pay so much overheads. It saves a lot of money to work at home.

You do not have to pay for office space, lights, electricity, water, and of course people to man the office. They can also find customers online quite effectively, sometimes even better than having a physical office.
