Ever wonder how search engines work? Aside from its main job of providing results to searches you make, how do you think search engines choose those which they display? In a nutshell, they do this by sending out spiders or google bots that go to each and every website and poke around. The reason for this is to find out what each website is about and rank it accordingly by seeing if other websites link back to it. Makes sense?
