My Kids Have Learned a Lot About Money

My children have always been pretty spoiled. Every time they’ve wanted something, they have gotten it either for Christmas or their birthday. In the last year, however, things have begun to get a lot tighter financially and we haven’t been able to be so generous. My kids wanted a Wii for Christmas, and we couldn’t afford it. So they decided to try to make money and buy one on their own. So far, they have earned up $140 babysitting their cousins and doing odd jobs for people. It has been really good for them, because they’ve had to learn to work for what they want and wait until they have enough money.
