Plan for Your Child’s Future

August 21st, 2009

One thing you learn quickly when you are expecting a baby is that there are one million things that must be done prior to the birth. Buying baby clothes, a crib, planning a nursery, securing childcare – the list goes on. One important thing to remember is making sure that you have created a will. My Indianapolis Attorney reminded me how important it is to make sure my child was provided for if something were to happen to me and/or my wife. Not only do you have to explain how your funds are to be allocated, but also who you wish to take care of your child in your absence. It is a scary and exhausting process, but so very important – don’t wait!
