Their Parents Helped with Federal Direct Plus Loans

My neighbors needed to help their kids with tuition. They had 2 that went away to school and one that chose to commute. They all needed money at the same time. The two kids that went away had scholarships for their undergraduate degrees, but now needed graduate degrees. My neighbors couldn’t afford to give them much but knew that they had to help them somehow. They got federal direct plus loans to help their kids. It was easy to apply and they had great credit. They were approved in a few weeks and were able to send their kids the money that they needed to finish their masters.
