We Hired a Contractor to Help Us Go Green

When we remodeled our home, we felt really strongly about trying to do everything in the most energy smart way possible. It was easy, of course, to do things like pick out energy star rated appliances. However, we wanted to do more. We hired a contractor who had taken the LEED exam and he helped us to find all kinds of other ways to not only make our house ultra green, but also to save us money on our energy costs. Our house is now the talk of our friends and family and several of them have decided to take the plunge after seeing how successfully we pulled off the project.
