Web Content Writer: Writing Page Tags
March 22nd, 2009
As a web content writer, it’s part of your job to write page tags for every page. These tags include the title, and meta-tags like the keywords and description tags. Writing these tags reminds you that no webpage stands alone. You should be linking to other pages on the same site, and often to outside sites as well. Before you write the content, decide on the page tags; do your research and choose the tags you want to use. Remember that you must include the keywords you’ve used in keyword tags on the page itself — never contribute to Web spam; you could get your website banned.
