School Assessment
February 28th, 2010
I had my son assessed at one of the best private preschools in our city the other day and the principal told me that my son is writing backwards. She said that such a writing pattern for early schoolers is normal, but I must be vigilant and practice him more at home to avoid this concern to become something serious – Dyslexia writing. I know some people with dyslexia and they tell me about their struggles in school when they were younger, and then in the professional world when they became adults. I do not want my son to be diagnosed with dyslexia. Is there a way I can prevent it?
