Dental Implants 101

May 24th, 2011

Getting dental implants have become a common solution for people who have rotten, chipped, or heavily stained and discolored teeth. Some even opt to have these done even when there is no real problem with the current state of their choppers. The reason being, these artificial teeth look and perform perfectly like normal ones. The greatest benefit is they will never be susceptible to common problems such as cavities. What basically happens is that the implant is surgically placed in your jaw bone. A crown will be custom-made to fit the space and the new tooth will be put over the implant, giving you the beautiful and flawless smile you have been craving for.
