Posture can affect your neck

July 21st, 2010

Your neck is prone to injury since it is very mobile and flexible with a 12 pound weight at the top.  Many of the problems can come from bad posture resulting in microraumas that add up over time and eventually cause neck pain and sometimes headaches.  I had been having neck pain for a few months before I went to see my Houston Chiropractor.  She explained how bad posture can affect your neck and the muscles around it.  Then I saw the x-ray of my neck and how straight my neck was, it was amazing.  I wish I hadn’t waited so long to get treatment.
