Cholesterol Level: If You Want To Have Cholesterol And Have All But Given Up..

August 12th, 2009

Cholesterol present in the body aids in nerve conduction, cell membrane formation and regulation of fluidity. Since the liver produces the cholesterol the body needs, any cholesterol taken through food causes levels to exceed. Avoid fatty foods, for the unwanted cholesterol from them blocks the blood passage through arteries. vPeople with cholesterol levels much higher than 200 mg/dL are more prone to heart problems and strokes.

The devastating effects of cholesterol can be defeated by quitting smoking and adding more vegetables to your food. To avoid any future risks due to cholesterol, it is advised that people start checking on cholesterol levels from the age of 20. My next post will be about, cholesterol level.
