sun rashed

December 10th, 2009

It is no coincidence that Dr’ Seegal held a unique academic position; he was director of a hospital service devoted to chronic diseases (the kind that most of us have and will continue to have). He recognized two important points. First, that in the care of chronic illness with the help of sun rashed, the patients need convincing. They need to be convinced that their less-than-perfect habits contribute most to the chronicity of their illness. Second, the role of the physician should be that of an effective teacher. We all know examples of another type of doctor. The one who says: “I am the doctor, you are only a patient’ I know what’s good for you.”
