Among all the fish species that Americans eat every year, one of the most favorite of all would have to be fresh cod. Found in many different waters, though particularly abundant in Alaskan waters, this species of fish is lean, white, lacks the excessive saltiness and “fishiness” of many other species of fish, and is just an all around hit.
