I was Surprised to Qualify for Several Single Mother Scholarships

I became a single mom with a low-paying job at the age of thirty.  It never occurred to me that there were resources available to help me get an education, so I did not look for them.  I met a very nice man who encouraged me to see if I qualified for help, so I went online and researched the subject.  I was surprised to find that I qualified for Single Mother Scholarships and other financial help.  In a surprisingly short time I was taking college courses and eventually got my degree.  My story ended better than I ever thought it would when I married my nice guy and got a dream job, all in the same year.
