You may be thinking, ‘What’s the point of fake security cameras’?

The answer is that fake security systems create the impression in the eyes of a would be thief that the place is monitored and secure.  This can be accomplished with relatively low cost. A home owner can purchase several fake security cameras and easily install them at visible home access points. These cameras have a flashing light that gives the impression of a live camera and some even detect motion and move accordingly.

Fake security cameras are low maintenance and only require batteries.  The potential burglar normally won’t take the time to find out if they are real or not.
