Advantages of Having Affordable Health Insurance

People who have access to affordable health insurance have many advantages over people who do not. They have the ability to seek medical care when they need it without having to worry about how they will pay the bills. Insured people also have access to prescription medication which can be very costly depending on the type. There are people who pay hundreds of dollars each month for pills that they need. Some people have to decide whether to pay out of pocket for their medication or to go without food. It seems safe to assume that people with affordable health insurance may be healthier overall than those who do not.
