Home School Programs Are Showing Favorable Results

More families are turning to home schooling to educate their children with favorable results. Students who are home schooled are scoring high on their ACT and SAT tests, and in some cases are scoring higher than students who attend public and private schools. What makes home school programs so successful? Of course individual attention ranks high on the list, but so does a commitment to providing your child with the best education possible. And home schooling a child is a big committment for any parent to undertake. A huge amount of time goes into planning lessons and finding the necessary materials for classes before the actual teaching begins. Since home schooled students are tested by the state, there is no slacking. Classes need to have structure and free time must be limited during the day. There should be no difference in going to a traditional school and being schooled at home.
