She Held It for Me

I got an email from one of my friends the other day that works down at the supermarket.  She told me that the watches and clocks were all on sale because they were overstocked. She knew that I had my eye on one of the wall clocks that had been in the shop for a while, so she put it in storage for me.  I told her that I could come and pick it up some time during the weekend, when things weren’t so busy.  She wasn’t sure if she could hold it that long, but she said that she would try.
