Video Conferencing: Equipment

More and more companies are putting a stop to expensive long distance conferences and instead are investing in video conferencing equipment so that their employees can get valuable training from the comfort of their laptop computers. To be a part of an online conference, there is not much equipment needed. First you’ll need a computer that has an Internet connection. Then you’ll need a camera and a microphone, both of which sometimes come installed on computers. Next you’ll need software like Skype or Yahoo Messenger downloaded onto the computer. Once you have that, you are a few clicks away from being face to face with people around the world.
