My Father Says Losing His Job Was a Blessing in Disguise

My father recently went back to school, after the company he was working for, suddenly went out of business. This came as a huge surprise to my parents, and a definite wake up call for my father. This time around he would get a degree in a field, that would always have available jobs, which was accounting. After he graduated, he did an online search to find out the salary of an accountant. Two weeks later, he was offered an outstanding position, making twice as much money as he did before. He now says that losing his former job was the best thing to ever happen to him.
