Publish or Perish

I don’t know if you know this, but every so many years, doctors who teach at medical colleges have to publish a book. Most of them take some time off to do it, but not all of them. I became assistant to a doctor this year and the job he gave me…? Putting in the citations in his book. That’s not unusual – he’s incredibly busy with his students and his work at the clinic. And the hard work, his writing, is already done. Lucky for me, I learned how to use an APA machine in another class. That makes making citations and bibliographies so much easier. I just know his book is going to do well, too.
