State Of California Marriage Records Identified My Parents Wedding Day

My wife and I have started to do a genealogy search for my parents.  We know where my mom is now but have little knowledge where she met and married my dad.  The best that she can remember at this time is that it was somewhere around San Francisco.  It might have been Nevada but she thinks it more likely it was California.  When we did a state of California marriage records check we started at my birth date and then went back five years.  In that time in the counties in and around San Francisco we found eight people with my last name that got married but only one to a woman with her maiden name.
