“These deerskin thinsulate gloves are the perfect gift that a hunter could receive from his wife.” Jim said to Kay as he hugged her. “Thank you Kay.” He kissed her on the nose. “Come, let’s eat lunch,” Kay said to Jim as she let go of her husband’s embrace. “I’ve grilled your favorite baby back ribs and mashed potato. Now, if that isn’t a hunter’s meal, then I don’t know what is.” They talked while they ate. Kay couldn’t help but notice that Jim was wearing the amulet now while he wolfed down the baby back ribs. It was on his neck. She didn’t know whether Jim noticed that she was staring at the amulet or him. He just ate.
