The most outsourced service amongst fulfillment companies today is most likely kitting. Kitting is tedious fulfillment service that calls for patience, energy, and maybe a talent for matching. Fulfillment companies use kits for several different reasons, company introductions, client gift packages, or even employee training tools. What makes kitting services so tedious is the fact that it’s not just one item. Kits are comprised of several different items. When the items are all put together in a kit, it’ important that they coincide or make sense when they are all together. Executing kitting services falls under steps similar to pick, pack, and shipping.
