Keep your new website out of trouble with website development agreements

Web developers have had the upper hand in recent years because they have been the ones who have written the “fine print” agreement for developing websites for business owners. Sometimes the fine print has some shocking information that most people don’t see or understand when the get involved in a web design project. One little clause in a website development agreements can actually give the true ownership of the website not to the paying customer but to the web designer. In these agreement unsuspecting customers actually lease their own web site from the web site developer. It is important that companies get a legal opinion before signing website development agreements.
