Every year people literally make a beeline for the Poconos skiing resorts. Before going there it would be useful to know what to expect at a typical Poconos skiing resort. They will all have trails, lifts and ski equipment rentals. There will be training classes for both adults and children. In your spare time you can go snowmobile riding and snow tubing. There will be towns just about 10 or 15 minutes drive away, having restaurants, hotels and shops. They open and close at the same time as the resort. Accommodation includes condos with one, two or three bedrooms, not inside but near the resorts.
